I adopted Nanette.... a traumatized Hunting Dog , three years ago.

She had been taken from the previous owner for cruel treatment and placed in a Refuge, where she existed and survived for 2 years here in Southern France. Absolutely no treatment was given to her for extreme trauma during that time.

Dog 'ownership'...

E-mail Print PDF

Please take a moment to look into this dog's eyes!! a long moment......What you may see there is the raison d'etre for this website. We need look no further than the daily news to see evidence of the insanity of our race....no further than our own behaviours (if we have the courage to be honest) to see the power of the egoic mind....scared to look at ourselves? then let's look at our neighbour! Ha !!! easy to see it there isn't it?!! Enough said!!

We all know then what we are up against when it comes to an emotive subject like 'Animal Abuse'.

If we adopt an animal....what is our role? Should we 'educate' them by beating them into submission?

we become religious in a way
that is elementary, profound
and alive.
