Nanette: A Very Brave Dog

and how one little dog showed her life

I love to be proved wrong like this!!!

I love to be proved Wrong when I see the outcome of this story!!

This beautiful German Shepherd is about 16 months old now. He had three owners in his first year and was in a terrible psychological state when adopted by a couple who run the photocopying shop here.

I would watch 'Cheyenne'  being ' educated' french style!!! This involved repeated slaps over the nose with the lead.....not too hard you understand but nevertheless with an intention to shock!!.

I would watch the new owner learning from the 'Educator'....and to me it appeared quite brutal. I personally would not want to go that route...The dog was so nervous, so scared even, so ' all over the place' that one wondered if it was reversible!!

Well....just look at him now!! I go in the shop every day....he bounds forward with love to greet me, he seems to know I was on his side.....but I was wrong. His owners are very loving and ' fearful  strictness ' has been replaced with a calm command and Cheyenne's respect and love for them shines out of him. He is obedient, playful and has discovered a wonderful world he never knew existed!! ...Isn't that Beautiful??  Bravo all three....xxx
