Nanette: A Very Brave Dog

and how one little dog showed her life

INSANITY!!!

E-mail Print PDF

This morning as usual, I walked Nanette and Bertie through Chemin de Camp and up into the Stadium where I am in the habit of walking the perimeter every day.

The Groundkeeper approached only a few days ago to remonstrate with me about the deposits of canine excrement to be found from time to time. I explained my habit of picking up my dogs excrement and showed him my pocket full of brown sacks provided for that purpose.
This morning, another man approached gesticulating and shouting at me . He 'third degreed' me about the dogs 'pee pee'!!!! Being English, I found his voluble french rather difficult to understand but finally the Groundkeeper arrived and said "This man is the ' Grand Chef''!!

Apparently , in addition to carrying my brown sacks, I must now carry a bleach spray in the other pocket! He remonstrated that if the dogs did a pee pee against the drinking fountain, the children who drink from the Fountain on the way to school would be in danger of an illness !! In the back of any bottle of bleach you can see a variety of warnings about 'contact with the eyes' ( immediately see a specialist ) .' Keep out of the reach of children'    SO what is going on here?? and why are the same strict regulations not applied in the little playground in Chemin de Camp , where I find deposits of Human Excrement !!!

I was hard put to it to prevent Bertie from biting the man because he was shouting at me!!!  Of course I have no intention of carrying a bleach spray in my pocket....How much more Insane and removed from Nature will we be expected to go????
