Nanette: A Very Brave Dog

and how one little dog showed her life

BATTERSEA REPORT

Battersea Dogs Home has reported on BBC NEWS today that last year , it had to destroy 2,815 animals of which 1,931 were HEALTHY!!!

They report that more and more dogs are aggressive!!and not suitable for re homing!! Are we surprised?

I well remember Nanette giving me one of her messages about this a couple of years back...you know? when she she gazes at me and her eyes bore into my back.

It went something like this....' unless Humans  stop ravaging our natural habitats, polluting our seas and adopting animals as status symbols or as toys , in short using animals for furtherance of the ego ,the animal kingdom as a whole will turn on Humanity'.

I was a bit shocked by this as it was ' strong' for Nanette. The words ' Morphic Resonance' came to mind.

Morphic resonance is a language without words, a communication that has been proved to exist between animals of the same species,,,,birds for example. Animals of the same species know what is happening to other members of their species regardless of distance.

During this session with Nanette, I became convinced that all animals are in communication regardless of distance or species!. Humans have the same intuitive ability which has been largely laid aside or lost in favour of more ' tangible' communications. This may be how internet got created and e mails would be the equivalent of Morphic Resonance in the same species..... with Facebook, Twitter and YouTube being a group communication.

As Carers of domestic animals we all have a responsibility to respect the animal's psychological space, their need for time in nature and good wholesome natural food....Have a look in the mirror and ask yourself ' Am I observing all these basics, am I a sensitive animal carer??' Only you know your score!! xx
