Just look at this picture!!...and see the ease with which Nanette takes a stance and laps the water!!! So what??.... It was only a few months ago that we would be obliged to go a long way round on our town walk to avoid this ' dangerous monster!!!
Nanette was terrified of both Fountains....this one being the biggest represented the greatest threat!!....( installed in the town since her arrival here with me 4 years ago,)....
To access it, we must pass through the busiest thoroughfares in the town. This is now accomplished with greataplomb every morning!!
Now ,our Bertie can't see what all the fuss is about, he huffs and puffs with impatience on the ground.... or is it that he realises this is just one huge mountain he can't climb??!!!
I suspect another agenda!! He is terrified of the other Fountain further along ,which gives access to water at street level...'.it's really galling isn''t it Bert to see your girl taking the lead!!!'' Normally it's the other way round of course!! That's males for you!!! xx
