Nanette: A Very Brave Dog

and how one little dog showed her life

Grief

Do dogs suffer Grief?? Nanette certainly has! Since Bertie left his body behind, she has not been the Nanette I have come to know....until....this week.

Now part of this may have been due to what I call ' Planetary influences'. Being a keen observer of Astrological movement, I have noticed that not only Humans are affected by Full and New Moons as well as Eclipses and other potent alignments but Animals also and it just so happens that we arre curently in a very interesting period involving 3 Eclipses between the last New Moon and the next on July 1st.

As far as I am concerned  this is about  increasing Awareness and a deepening of Consciousness and Heaven knows we sure need it....just look at our world!!! and by the way ...at ourselves!!! But I digress!.....

Nanette has been unwilling to go out at all, suffering an apparent total lack of confidence in town....which if you remember was hard won ! In addition, no interest in other dogs !

THEN, this morning she was again in town, jumping on to the fountain to drink like she used to and running up and down the steps with her natural joy, tail flying behind and sheer laughter exuding from every pore when we arrived home! Absolutely wonderful to see. Even though it was only 7.30, I whooped with Joy myself and caused a few flutters amongst our closer neighbours! Tough!!! ( I thought ).

Nanette has been with me now for 7 years and her age is about 13 ...one can't be sure of course but that's the vet's calculation. We have travelled a long road together and in due course, when our lives are again more settled ...Ha Ha will that ever be?!!!! but you know what I mean....I will look for Bertie's return in another body. You don't believe me? No obligation. Have a lovely day xx
