Well....it was February when Bertie left his physical body and although Nanette knew what had happened in her way....I showed her his body resting in his little bed until it was cold...(.never bury a warm body!!! ), She was devastatingly sad. She has been sad and lacked confidence in the village since then but with momentary improvements from time to time.
Although I still sometimes 'see' Bertie with ' The Buddha' fellow ( see under Bertie ), it's not so frequent and I perfectly understand one must move on ...as they glibly say!!! but then THEY say many things and we ought to question alot more perhaps. The fact is that Bertie was a huge ' Presence', I'm almost tempted to say.....should I .. I wonder? Yes! I think I will! Spiritual Presence !!!
Yes, I realise this is not a term one thinks of or uses in connection with animals but why not??? Animals...like us....are created Beings, they have a Brain, a Nervous System, are hugely intuitive...(rather superior to humans in that respect in that we usually pay more attention to the mind and we have to admit...the Egoic mind.) What's that then?....well, don't ask me, watch the News, read the Papers and observe Human Behaviour and don't let's forget to make ourselves the chief study!!! I digress....
.Recently, I once again started using the essences for Nanette made by Rosi and this time, I put them in her drinking water and on the food instead of on the body. The results are very satisfactory. I see this time, a swifter improvement, gaining confidence in busy places, once again socialising with other dogs ,tolerating the hugely noisy world of Humanity in a better way and generally happier.
