Nanette: A Very Brave Dog

and how one little dog showed her life

Tut tut!! Nanette and her Bone!!

E-mail Print PDF

Now although Nanette has been with me for 7 years now, she still has no comprehension of how to eat a bone.

Well yes!! of course, she knows its  by mouth!! but what I mean is, that although I have sent her out in the garden with it and even gone and shown her how to bury a bone, she shoots back inside and gets on her couch with it!!

These bones are large and essentially ' Marrow Bones'  ( they are the safest for a domesticated Dog ). The result is, a very happy dog....she loves them ....and a very healthy set of teeth in spite of her age ...12 or 13 years old.

Bones are essential to the health and wellbeing of our canine friend and owners who are afraid to give them to their pets are misinformed. They MUST however be RAW!! Never give a cooked bone!! What's the alternative??? A visit to the vet and an anaesthetic to artificially clean the teeth!! Horrible!!! most unnatural!!
